I’m Avelino J. Cortina IV, a designer with a background in architecture and a focus on UI/UX. I’m interested in how design shapes the way people interact with spaces—whether that’s a screen, a building, or something in between. I care about problem-solving, but I’m just as invested in the questions as the answers, exploring how design can create meaning beyond just function.

I’ve worked on projects ranging from desinging App UI's for tech startups to engaging in pro-bono work in community-driven spaces, always looking for ways to make ideas feel tangible and experiences feel intuitive. My approach is rooted in curiosity, critical thinking, and a belief that good design comes from understanding people, not just aesthetics, a blend of curiosity, intimidation and intuition.

I’m based in California, exploring how design can be more sustainable, more human, and smarter with technology. I like to push boundaries, whether it’s through architecture, digital products, or the spaces where they connect.
